So wow, finally getting to this page, yah!! This blog has had a very slow start because, well, life just gets in the way sometimes. I am Michelle and I’ve done many things in my life, cooking a lot of meals has definitely been one of them.

As a Mum of 7 and a hater of cooking, it was only a promise that dinner would be on the table at 7pm every night that hungry mouths were fed. It was always a struggle to make it. Formerly I was a model and it was very easy for me to skip meals (not intentionally mind you as I love to eat), because I really hated cooking that much. It was a joy to finally make enough money to eat out most of the time.

So on my road dare I say I made a lot of short cuts to cooking, and I’m sharing them here for 3 reasons:

Firstly, so I can come to my blog and find the damn recipe I’m looking for! This is my recipe book and my kids are always asking for my recipes so now they have them too.

Secondly, to share my shortcuts and hopefully tasty meals for other cook haters,

and Thirdly, as am just a little old now I see many people struggling with the same thing, living on their own and not wanting to cook and eat their own food. It’s a lot of work for one person and it barely seems worth it. But in that, I still find delivered meals, frozen meals or store bought meals more than unappetising, not to mention unhealthy by my standards. I want it to be easy to have a light meal with little fuss.

I love fresh veggies, salads, fruit and meat. I don’t delve too much into diets. I believe food is important to nourish every part of our bodies, in the bible God said I now give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the entire earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

So have a look around, try out a recipe or 2, and sign up if you’d like to get my latest post in your email box!!
